About The Position
Our Environmental Services Team is all about offering the best high-quality care in housekeeping to all of our customers. Our goal is to be warm, friendly, and helpful to all that are in need of our services. As an Environmental Services Aide, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of Lakewood's campuses. Your contribution to maintaining high-quality housekeeping will directly impact the well-being of everyone who enters our facilities.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be a team player
- Reliable, detail-oriented, well organized
- Good communicator
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to lift and moderate weight up to 35 lbs. daily
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Responsible for routinely cleaning of hospital floor rooms, labor & delivery rooms, nurses station, public and staff restrooms, lobby and other areas as assigned for this location to health care standards following the seven - step cleaning process.
- Environmental Services Aides are responsible for dusting, vacuuming/sweeping/mopping floors, wall cleaning, emptying trash, inside window cleaning, restocking supplies, learning about Infectious and Hazardous waste removal, storage and clean up.
