About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to assist in directing and overseeing the department’s support-services operations. The manager coordinates frontline associates and serves as a liaison between administration and unit departments, providing a high level of service. This position is for the first shift and pays $57,000–$60,000. Crothall Healthcare provides specialized support services to the healthcare industry and serves hospital partners across the United States. The company is part of Compass Group USA.

Requirements

Four years of experience in support services, the military, housekeeping, and/or facilities maintenance.
At least one year of supervisory experience in a support-service-related field with substantial customer or client contact.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in oral presentations.
Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
Ability to stay organized in a changing and stressful environment.
Initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
Thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as the internet.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Establish and annually review standards and work procedures for all staff.
Plan work and staffing schedules and work areas to ensure adequate services are provided.
Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training new associates.
Orient, develop, and supervise supervisory and housekeeping staff.
Conduct regular inspections and make recommendations to the facility.
Prepare monthly reports covering goals, accomplishments, and future plans.
Provide staff education and ongoing training.
Communicate with staff, administration, and other departments.
Coordinate outside services, including pest control, window cleaning, medical and solid waste, document destruction, and recycling.
