About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring an Environmental Services Manager to assist in directing and overseeing the department’s support services operations. The manager coordinates frontline associates and serves as a liaison between administration and unit departments, providing a high level of service. The position includes managing staffing and work schedules, supervising and developing staff, maintaining service standards, inspecting work, reporting on goals and plans, and coordinating outside services. The position is listed as 1st shift.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of support services, military, housekeeping, and/or facilities maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a support-service-related field with high customer/client contact.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in oral presentations.
• Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
• Ability to maintain organization in a changing and stressful environment.
• Initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
• Thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and internet use.

Responsibilities

• Establish and annually review standards and work procedures for all staff.
• Plan work and staffing schedules and assign work areas to ensure adequate services are provided.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training new associates.
• Orient, develop, and supervise supervisory and housekeeping staff.
• Conduct regular inspections and make recommendations to the facility.
• Prepare monthly reports on goals, accomplishments, and future plans.
• Provide staff education and continuous training.
• Communicate with staff, administration, and other departments.
• Coordinate outside services, including pest control, window cleaning, medical and solid waste, document destruction, and recycling.
