About The Position

The Environmental Services Lead Technician is responsible for overseeing daily staff duties and assignments within the department, ensuring tasks are completed to the set standard. This role involves evaluating conditions and cleanliness through inspections and quality control measures. The Lead Technician also coordinates staff training on the proper use of chemicals, equipment, processes, and safety issues. The position is full-time, working 40 hours per week, with a schedule that includes working every other weekend. During the week, the role supports the Outpatient Clinic on a night shift. Because the Outpatient Clinic is closed on weekends, weekend shifts will be day shift from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. When scheduled to work the weekend, the employee's day off will be the preceding Friday to allow adequate rest prior to the early morning shift. The pay range for this position is $20.80 - $31.20 per hour.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a housekeeper aide or similar job.
  • Capable of working independently.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
  • Will limit access to protected health information (PHI) to the information reasonably necessary to do the job.
  • Will share information only on a need-to-know basis for work purposes.
  • Computerized access to PHI for this job has been determined as described above and is controlled via user ID and password.
