Housekeeper-EVS-(TEMPORARY)-Full Time Days
About The Position
The Environmental Services Housekeeper (EVS Housekeeper) ensures the cleanliness and sanitization of applicable hospital departments. The role reports to the Director of Environment Services and/or designated supervisors. The position is temporary and full-time, working days. The housekeeper performs cleaning procedures throughout assigned hospital areas in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner; maintains courteous and considerate relations with medical and administrative staff, patients, visitors, and other hospital employees; completes special projects as assigned; and keeps equipment care and storage areas clean and neat. Temecula Valley Hospital is part of Southwest Healthcare and provides hospital services including emergency care, cardiac and stroke care, orthopedics, and general and surgical specialties.
Requirements
- Ability to interpret and communicate/read/understand written and verbal material in English to perform essential job functions.
Nice To Haves
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean assigned areas throughout the hospital in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
- Maintain courteous and considerate relations with medical staff, administrative staff, patients, visitors, and other hospital employees.
- Complete special projects throughout the hospital as assigned.
- Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of equipment care and storage areas.
