About The Position
The Crossings is hiring a full-time Floor Technician to perform hands-on cleaning and maintenance tasks for seniors. This role involves cleaning, waxing, and polishing tile floors, as well as cleaning, vacuuming, and extracting/stripping carpets. Additional duties may include general cleaning, trash collection, light laundry, and light maintenance. The position offers uniforms, a beautiful campus, and an excellent work team.
Requirements
- Thorough on-the-job training
- Ability to demonstrate the correct use of chemical processes, supplies, protective gear and tools assigned
- Working knowledge of the standard work and safety procedures of the Environmental Services Department and the campus
- Takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better
- Friendly and courteous to residents, families and coworkers
- Reports to work timely and completes assigned duty punctually
- Informs superiors as far in advance as possible when unable to arrive for or complete scheduled work
