Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 1 - 2nd shift
About The Position
Sodexo is seeking a 2nd Shift Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 1 to join the team at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. The ideal candidate will bring leadership experience in a hospital Environmental Services setting, with a proven ability to manage frontline teams, drive operational excellence, and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and patient satisfaction. Renown Regional Medical Center, the flagship hospital of Renown Health, is a nationally recognized, non-profit healthcare facility with nearly 900 licensed beds and the region’s only Level II Trauma Center. This is an exciting opportunity to lead EVS operations in a large, fast-paced acute care environment while making a meaningful impact on patient care and the overall hospital experience.
Requirements
- Experience leading and managing a team
- Experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment is preferred
- Ability to analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading hospital committees and change management
- In-depth knowledge of housekeeping systems and procedures
- Experience with vendor and contract management, as well as union and contract negotiations
- Experience improving patient satisfaction, and driving full compliance to HCAHPS, local, state and Joint Commission standards
- 3-5 years previous custodial / housekeeping or similar management experience, in a hospital
- Proficiency with computers and other technology
- Ability to work a 2nd-shift, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities
- Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores
- Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
- Work closely with the Infectious Control department
- Work with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director
- Effectively manage the Unit Operating System
- Support a diverse and inclusive workforce
