Directs staff in maintaining the standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance as established by the hospital in accordance with hospital and Joint Commission standards. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with availability for day, swing, and night shifts as needed to support departmental operational needs. The role involves coordinating scheduling and staffing, delegating assignments, inspecting employee work through quality control inspections, performing rounds, assisting with new employee orientation and training, and handling basic employee counseling. The coordinator is responsible for motivating employees to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks and may perform cleaning duties as needed.
