Directs staff in maintaining the standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance as established by the hospital in accordance with hospital and Joint Commission standards. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, working from 2pm to 10:30pm. The role involves coordinating scheduling and staffing, delegating assignments, inspecting employee work for quality control, performing rounds, assisting with new employee orientation and training, and supporting management functions such as interviewing and performance evaluations. The coordinator is also responsible for employee counseling and motivating the team to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks. Cleaning duties may be performed as needed.
