About The Position

St. Mary’s Healthcare is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Assistant. The role cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas, maintains cleanliness according to facility procedures and protocols, and stocks supplies. The position works 40 hours per week on a day-evening schedule that includes rotating weekends. The listed hiring range is $17.00–$22.74 per hour; actual compensation depends on experience and other factors permitted by law. Eligible shifts may receive differentials: 10% for weekday evening and weekend day shifts, 15% for weekday night shifts, and 21% for weekend evening and night shifts.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Use standard cleaning procedures and protocols, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and removing trash and medical waste.
• Follow facility standards when cleaning in patient isolation or other special situations.
• Stock paper items and other supplies in assigned areas as needed or designated.
• Maintain supplies and equipment in clean, working condition.
