About The Position
The Environmental Services Aide performs hospital-wide cleaning duties according to established policies and procedures. The role cleans, maintains, and supplies assigned patient and non-patient areas using standardized departmental procedures. Duties include handling soiled and clean linens and supporting hospital personnel as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
- Ability to converse comfortably in English.
- Ability to read labels.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and push large equipment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Willingness to work as a team player and assist hospital personnel as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of or experience in hospital housekeeping procedures.
Responsibilities
- Clean, maintain, and supply assigned patient and non-patient areas according to standardized departmental procedures.
- Collect and remove soiled linens.
- Stock, transport, count, and deliver clean linens.
- Assist hospital personnel whenever duty calls.
