About The Position

Responsible for the safety and cleanliness of a hospital or other healthcare facility. This onsite role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and does not require patient care. The position is based at 66 Blossom Street and has 25 scheduled weekly hours.

Requirements

Two to three years of experience working with cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers.
Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Good communication and comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and door glass.
Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenish restroom supplies as needed.
Pick up debris around the building.
Operate and control high- and low-speed stripping and buffing machines.
Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for special events and normal hospital activities.
Identify and report building maintenance needs in assigned buildings and facilities.
