About The Position

Responsible for the safety and cleanliness of a hospital or other healthcare facility. This position does not require patient care. The role is onsite at 66 Blossom Street and is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays, 2:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m., including weekends and holidays. The position has 16 scheduled weekly hours and is classified as regular employment. The evening shift is in the United States of America.

Requirements

2–3 years of experience working with cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers.
Strong organization skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Good communication and comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and door glass.
Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
Clean and sanitize assigned restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenish restroom supplies as needed.
Pick up debris around the building.
Operate and control high- and low-speed stripping and buffing machines.
Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for special events and normal hospital activities.
Identify and report building maintenance needs in assigned buildings and facilities.
