About The Position

Dynamic Integrated Services (DIS) is seeking Overnight Environmental Service Technicians (EVS) to join their growing organization. This role will partner closely with a team of talented managers to support overnight sanitation and custodial operations within the VA healthcare system. DIS is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business providing management consulting services to federal agencies.

Requirements

Previous janitorial, custodial, EVS, sanitation, or housekeeping experience preferred
Overnight cleaning experience strongly preferred
Hospital or healthcare cleaning experience is a plus
Strong attendance and reliability required
Ability to work independently during overnight operations
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, push carts, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout shift
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when required
Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety standards
Must read, understand, speak, and write English fluently
Must pass federal background screening, fingerprinting, and onboarding requirements before starting employment

Responsibilities

Perform overnight sanitation and environmental cleaning throughout assigned healthcare areas
Clean and disinfect restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust mop, and maintain floors
Empty, sanitize, and reline trash receptacles
Perform terminal cleaning of vacant clinic exam rooms
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces using approved hospital-grade disinfectants
Follow infection prevention and healthcare sanitation procedures
Operate cleaning equipment and microfiber systems safely
Maintain safe work areas and display wet floor signage properly
Report hazards, spills, and maintenance concerns promptly
Support operational coverage needs as required
