About The Position
Dynamic Integrated Services (DIS) is seeking Linen & Bio Environmental Service Technicians to support sanitation and linen operations within the VA healthcare system. This is a federal contractor position supporting the VA healthcare system. Candidates cannot begin work until onboarding and background adjudication are completed. Uniforms are required. Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on operational needs. Healthcare sanitation and infection prevention training will be provided.
Requirements
- Previous custodial, EVS, housekeeping, sanitation, warehouse, or linen experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical work throughout shift
- Strong attendance and punctuality required
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and transport materials throughout shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Must read, understand, speak, and write English fluently
- Must pass federal background screening, fingerprinting, and onboarding requirements before starting employment
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare or hospital experience is a plus
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Support linen and sanitation operations throughout the healthcare facility
- Maintain clean and sanitary assigned areas
- Transport linen, supplies, and materials safely throughout facility
- Empty, sanitize, and maintain waste receptacles
- Follow infection prevention and healthcare sanitation standards
- Operate carts and cleaning equipment safely
- Assist with environmental cleaning duties as assigned
- Report hazards, spills, equipment issues, and maintenance concerns promptly
- Maintain professional appearance and attendance standards
Benefits
- Pay Range: $23–26/hour depending on experience
- Healthcare sanitation and infection prevention training provided
