About The Position

Dynamic Integrated Services (DIS) is seeking Environmental Service Technicians (EVS) to support sanitation and custodial operations within the VA healthcare system. DIS is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business providing management consulting services to federal agencies and organizations supporting the public sector. Requirements

Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, EVS, sanitation, or cleaning experience preferred
Strong attendance and reliability required
Comfortable working evenings and weekends
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, push carts, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout shift
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when required
Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety standards
Must read, understand, speak, and write English fluently
Must pass federal background screening, fingerprinting, and onboarding requirements before starting employment

Nice To Haves

Hospital, healthcare, hotel, airport, warehouse, or commercial cleaning experience is a plus
High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust mop, and maintain floors throughout assigned areas
Empty, sanitize, and reline trash receptacles
Restock restroom consumables and sanitation supplies
Perform terminal cleaning of vacant clinic exam rooms as assigned
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces using approved hospital-grade disinfectants
Follow infection prevention and healthcare sanitation procedures
Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
Display wet floor signs and maintain safe work areas at all times
Report spills, hazards, maintenance concerns, or safety issues promptly
Maintain professional appearance, attendance, and punctuality standards
