About The Position
This position will maintain hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition, to provide a suitable environment for the care of patients and for the works of the hospital staff and employees.
Requirements
- Knowledge of principles and practice of infection control.
- Experience with Joint Commission, OSHA, and CDC Standards
- Experience in interpreting and applying clinical policies and procedures.
- Experience collecting, aggregating, and analyzing data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Knowledge of nursing principles, including psychiatric and/or geriatric nursing.
- Experience working in a Joint Commission Accredited and/or CMS certified healthcare facility.
- Experience working with a diverse group of staff and patients.
- Core competency in PC-based applications such as database, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation graphics.
- Must possess a working knowledge of local, federal, and state laws and regulations and standards related to infection control.
- Housekeeping experience
