About The Position

EnviroTrac LLC is seeking an Environmental Project Scientist with 3-5 years of experience to join our Warrendale, PA team. This full-time role involves working in the field on a variety of environmental projects with opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in environmental science, geology, and engineering
• 3-5 years of experience
• Current 40-hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification
• API certification
• CPR training
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel locally

Nice To Haves

• Strong working knowledge of Pennsylvania’s Brownfields Redevelopment Program (Act 2), Storage Tank Program (Chapters 245/250), and Oil and Gas Program (Chapter 78)
• Familiarity with New Jersey environmental regulations and guidance
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and management skills
• Strong technical writing abilities
• Good communications skills a must
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Mechanically inclined
• Motivated

Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing field inspections per approved engineering drawings or permits (E&S, SPCC)
• Client communications
• Environmental site assessments
• Performing air, soil, and groundwater monitoring/sampling
• Underground storage tank (UST) closure oversight
• First responder to spill responses
• Surveying
• Management and oversight of subcontractors including monitoring well installation and soil borings
• Writing and completing QA/QC on all field documentation
• Knowledge with operation and maintenance on soil and groundwater remediation systems
• Knowledge of local and state regulations
