Summer 2027 Environmental Programs Intern - Eddystone, PA
About The Position
Constellation is seeking a highly motivated student in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline for a paid Summer 2027 internship with its Power Team in Eddystone, Pennsylvania. The internship is expected to last approximately 10 weeks, from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027. Interns will work on specific projects to gain practical, hands-on experience, working independently under an assigned supervisor and technical mentor. Example projects have included investigating corrosion sources in water systems, evaluating options to repair water piping, modifying liquid-level instrumentation in a pressure vessel, analyzing safety valve maintenance and inspection, installing wireless amp current meters, and conducting an aqueous copper removal pilot project. Relevant departments include Fleet Operations & Support, Engineering, Corporate Tech, Maintenance, Operations, and Hydroelectric. Interns gain experience alongside professionals, explore tasks and departments, receive mentorship, build professional networks, and contribute to a company focused on sustainability. Employment after the internship may be considered based on performance and business needs.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program for Fall 2027 in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related degree.
- Track record of outstanding academic performance.
- Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to lawfully work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
