About The Position

This position performs environmental monitoring as written in NOW’s Microbiology Laboratory’s Standard Operating Procedure. The technician will perform routine environmental monitoring of surfaces, water, and air, and conduct visual inspections of production workstations for maintenance and sanitation work orders. Responsibilities include collecting swab samples for ATP, Allergen, and Pathogen testing, as well as air and water samples. The role involves reporting environmental monitoring results for trending, communicating with other departments regarding corrective actions and out-of-specifications, and monitoring soap and sanitizer concentrations. The technician must comply with Safety and cGMP requirements and support a culture of safe production by exhibiting safe work practices and actively participating in the safety program.

Requirements

HS diploma or equivalent and six months experience working in a cGMP environment or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Knowledge of cGMP regulations required.
