About The Position

This role is responsible for independently performing environmental monitoring as outlined in NOW’s Microbiology Laboratory’s Standard Operating Procedure. The technician will conduct routine monitoring of surfaces, water, and air, and perform visual inspections of production workstations for maintenance and sanitation work orders. Key tasks include collecting swab samples for ATP, Allergen, and Pathogen testing, as well as air and water samples. The position involves reporting environmental monitoring results for trending, communicating with other departments regarding corrective actions and out-of-specification results, and monitoring soap and sanitizer concentrations. Compliance with Safety and cGMP requirements is essential. The role also supports a culture of safe production through active participation in the safety program, adherence to policies, and immediate reporting of incidents.

Requirements

HS diploma or equivalent and six months experience working in a cGMP environment or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Knowledge of cGMP regulations required.

Responsibilities
