About The Position
Eurofins PSS is seeking an entry-level Environmental Monitoring Specialist with a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, preferably Microbiology. This role involves performing critical environmental monitoring and utility sampling in a GMP-regulated environment. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field - Microbiology majors preferred
- Experience with aseptic technique
- Experience with streak plating
- Experience with colony counting
- Experience with endotoxin testing
- Experience with bioburden testing
- Experience with microbial identification
- Experience with surface or air sampling
- Experience with cleanroom monitoring
- Strong computer, lab, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask and follow procedures
- Quick learner with strong record-keeping accuracy
- Effective communication across teams
- Self-motivated, flexible, and team-oriented
- Committed to quality, productivity, and continuous improvement
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities
- Perform environmental monitoring (air, surface, personnel)
- Conduct utility (compressed gas) and water sampling
- Support PQ activities
- Enter/review data per GMP
- Perform SPV as needed
- Maintain data integrity and inspection readiness
- Calibrate and maintain equipment
- Troubleshoot issues
- Support training; use systems like GMARS
- Follow cGMPs; report non-conformances
- Support deviations and investigations
- Contribute to improvements
- Follow HSE standards
- Maintain safe lab environment
