About The Position

Lead and support a high-performing team while driving operational excellence in a regulated laboratory environment, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and inspection readiness. This role involves coaching, mentoring, and developing team members, coordinating daily workflow to meet turnaround times, performing environmental monitoring, utility and water sampling, supporting performance qualification activities, ensuring compliance with cGMP and lab standards, performing data entry/review, completing SPV reviews, supporting investigations, and performing equipment calibration, qualification, and maintenance. The role also includes identifying improvement opportunities, maintaining safe work practices, and supporting HSE goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline
• 1+ years of Environmental Monitoring experience
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong computer and laboratory documentation skills
• Experience with data entry, review, and GMP-regulated environments
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and develop team members
• Lead training, maintain records, and support onboarding
• Conduct performance reviews and support succession planning
• Participate in hiring and candidate evaluations
• Coordinate daily workflow to meet turnaround times (TAT)
• Prepare and review job plans
• Drive process improvements and support Lean/CCI initiatives
• Maintain inspection readiness
• Perform environmental monitoring (air, surface, personnel)
• Conduct utility (compressed gas) and water sampling
• Support performance qualification (PQ) activities
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and lab standards
• Perform data entry/review and maintain data integrity
• Complete SPV reviews and support investigations
• Identify deviations and escalate when needed
• Perform equipment calibration, qualification, and maintenance
• Troubleshoot methods and equipment issues
• Identify improvement opportunities and support Lean initiatives
• Maintain safe work practices and support HSE goals
