This role involves guiding, instructing, and communicating assigned work to employees within the department. The Quality Control Group Leader will monitor group quality and performance, ensuring adherence to work instructions and data card requirements. They will also assist the Ops Leader in planning efficient personnel utilization, maintaining workflow to meet schedules, and ensuring measuring instruments are calibrated. Additionally, the role supports the administration of product quality, company policies, and safety programs, while maintaining departmental paperwork and communicating operating difficulties with constructive recommendations. The Group Leader will also assist employees with work-related problems, identify training needs, provide training, and offer input on quality, safety, performance appraisals, productivity, discipline, and reward & recognition. Group Leaders are also expected to perform their usual classification responsibilities as required.
