As a part of nVent, the Electrical Products Group is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, designed to help ensure safe and reliable electrical operations primarily in the infrastructure vertical, including power utilities and data centers. This is an onsite role, 5 days/week in our Medway, MA facility.

Requirements

  • Ideally 3+ years of experience as an EHS Specialist or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, facilities management, environmental, safety, or a related industrial field.
  • Knowledge of environmental health and safety principles and standard processes applicable to metal fabrication, manufacturing, or construction environments.
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, including OSHA, EPA.
  • Experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action processes.
  • Experience in conducting inspections, audits, and assessments, preparing clear reports, and tracking corrective actions to completion.
  • Interpersonal skills to influence compliance and promote safe practices through training, consultation, and partnership rather than enforcement alone.
  • Ability to use EHS software systems, databases, and digital tools to support training, inspections, and compliance tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain programs to ensure environmental health and safety and continuous improvement in the same.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA).
  • Lead incident reporting process and drive incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
  • Organize, perform, and document safety audits, safety training, and other programs.
  • Track and report on EHS metrics and progress toward organizational objectives.
  • Partner with manufacturing and field personnel to prevent and resolve EHS issues effectively.
  • Apply proactive safety methodology and a positive, solution-based approach.
