The EHS Manager supports the oversight of company compliance with environmental, health & safety standards at all local, state, and federal levels to ensure employees have a safe working environment that is free of recognized hazards and prevents EHS compliance penalties and workers’ compensation claims. The EHS Manager will utilize regional analytical data points for GEODIS & Temporary OSHA Incident Rate, Workers Compensation Reserves, and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) incidents to apply the EHS strategic direction and develop an EHS culture throughout the region. This position is responsible for ensuring warehouse EHS for multiple facilities within multiple states with the support of Corporate EHS training & education, documentation, audits, hazard assessments, injury & incident tracking, and reporting. The EHS Manager will support the setup and sustainability of ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety management systems standard.
