About The Position

TTL is searching a mid-level to senior environmental geologist / scientist to join our Nashville team. The ideal candidate will bring diverse environmental consulting experience, strong communication and client interaction skills, and well-developed project management abilities. Responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting technical data, preparing proposals and cost estimates and developing technical reports. This role will also play a key part in company advocacy and business development efforts as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Geology, Biology, or a related field
• 6+ years of professional experience
• Wide array of environmental consulting experience
• Strong communication and client interaction skills
• Well-developed project management skills.

Nice To Haves

• MS and professional registration are a plus
• TN P.G. License Preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyzing maps, drawings, tests and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and other topographical and geologic data
• Calculate cost and determine feasibility remediation of projects based on analysis of collected data
• Responsible for overall performance of group with respect to established operating standards and financial goals
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Able to communicate effectively
• Able to prepare technical reports
• Company advocacy and business development efforts as part of a coordinated team
• Work in the development of the client network
