Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • ADS Safety Certification (Level 4 or higher).
  • Completion of OSHA 10-Hour training, Safety Training Coordinator, and Safety Management certification.
  • Proficiency with tools like oscilloscopes, insulation testers (Megger), DVMs, etc.
  • Prior experience as an Environmental Field Technician 3 or equivalent.
  • Respirator fit-tested with ability to work under supplied air in hazardous environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced troubleshooting and electronics knowledge.
  • Intermediate mechanical and computer skills (MS Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Strong problem-solving and technical analysis capabilities.
  • Proficiency with GIS tools and data analysis platforms is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in physically demanding and outdoor environments, including inclement weather and confined spaces.
  • Able to lift and carry loads up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installations and deployments of hardware across all product lines, including flow monitoring and rainfall equipment.
  • Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting on system components, both hardware and software.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and operate flow monitoring technology and associated equipment.
  • Understand and demonstrate deep knowledge of technology platforms and data outputs.
  • Conduct confined space entries and operate within underground sewer lines.
  • Set up traffic control work zones in high-traffic areas.
  • Act as topside confined space attendant and perform vertical rescues as necessary.
  • Collect, analyze, and validate data in accordance with quality instructions.
  • Mentor and provide on-the-job training for Environmental Field Technicians and other Field Technology Specialists.
  • Support the business development team with client interfacing and trade show demonstrations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to interpret flow data and develop practical solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and legible records per company standards.
  • Foster a strong safety culture and adhere to all OSHA and confined space entry protocols.
