About The Position
WSP is currently initiating a search for an Environmental Engineer for our Columbia, MD office. Be involved on projects in Baltimore with our Construction Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related engineering field.
- At least 1 year of environmental engineering experience
- Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and state environmental regulations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and environmental modeling or GIS software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental assessments and site investigations.
- Develop and implement environmental management plans.
- Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory documentation.
- Monitor compliance with environmental laws and company policies.
- Design and evaluate pollution prevention and waste management systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Analyze environmental data and recommend corrective actions.
- Support sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives.
