We are looking for a motivated, bright, and talented Geologist, Scientist, or Environmental Engineer to join our company in our Pittsburgh, PA office. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, environmental engineering or related field from an accredited program.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience with an environmental/engineering consulting firm.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with travel requirements of up to 25–50% based on business and project demands
  • Candidate should be a self-starter and possess strong technical and writing skills to support a wide range of science and engineering projects.
  • A successful candidate will also be detail oriented, have excellent verbal communication skills combined with a positive attitude, and ability to work both independently and within teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ArcGIS is a plus
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting samples of soil, groundwater, and other environmental media in support of site investigation and remediation objectives.
  • Installing monitoring wells, performing remediation monitoring, and overseeing contractors.
  • Assisting in the preparation of various regulatory submittal, technical memorandums, and/or engineering design reports.
  • Managing, analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting data for use in reports and other visualizations including maps, charts, and 3D models.
