About The Position

Our Central Region Environmental businesses are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line by coordinating and implementing environmental solutions and projects. You will work with an energetic and high-performing team, engaging in a variety of tasks including technical correspondence, proposal preparation, report writing, work plan development, project permitting, interpretation of environmental regulations, data compilation and interpretation, client management, business development, and staff mentorship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including environmental remediation and site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel to client meetings is required

Nice To Haves

  • PE or PG will be highly regarded
  • Project experience in federal contracts is beneficial
  • Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment is preferred
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications
  • Coordinate and implement project permitting
