About The Position

The Environmental Control Systems (ECS) Technical Specialist 2 / Level 4 Engineer serves as a technical authority supporting the design, integration, certification, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of Gulfstream aircraft environmental control systems. The role covers cabin pressurization, air conditioning, ventilation, temperature control, pneumatic systems, and associated aircraft interfaces. The position supports work across the aircraft lifecycle, from development and certification through production and in-service fleet support. The specialist analyzes ECS performance data, investigates complex system issues, supports laboratory, ground, and flight testing, and develops corrective actions to improve aircraft performance, reliability, and maintainability. Gulfstream describes its onsite ECS laboratory and continued investment in testing facilities and equipment as resources for investigating system behavior and validating solutions. The position provides technical leadership and guidance across engineering, manufacturing, quality, flight operations, certification, customer support, suppliers, and other internal teams. It requires independent technical judgment and solutions that balance aircraft performance, cost, and schedule. The role is onsite in Savannah, Georgia, with travel of up to 25% and a first shift schedule.
