Join the ECS Systems Team for a Summer 2027 Internship! The ECS Systems Team (Department 1701) is responsible for new product development and production support activities for Gulfstream's Environmental Control Systems (ECS) and related aircraft systems. These systems include bleed air valves and ducting, heat exchangers, cabin air distribution systems, passenger and crew oxygen systems, cabin pressurization systems, and wing anti-ice systems. As part of the team, engineers perform detailed system performance analyses and support qualification and certification testing of components, assemblies, and full aircraft systems. The team works closely with suppliers to execute qualification testing, review engineering designs and drawings, and develop compliance documentation demonstrating adherence to FAA regulations. During this internship, you will gain hands-on exposure to aircraft systems engineering, including system design and configuration management, certification requirements under FAR Part 25, engineering analysis methods, and testing techniques used to validate and certify aircraft systems. This experience will provide valuable insight into the engineering processes that support the development and certification of advanced business aircraft.
