About The Position

Join the team for a Summer 2027 internship with the Organization Designation Authorization (ODA)! Airworthiness Engineers in the ODA work closely with engineering, program management, and regulatory authorities to support aircraft certification and ensure compliance with applicable FAA regulations and policies. As an intern, you will gain exposure to the aircraft certification process and learn how regulatory requirements are applied throughout the development of new and modified aircraft. You will support certification planning, compliance documentation, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination while contributing to laboratory and flight test certification activities that help demonstrate aircraft compliance with FAA regulations. You will have opportunities to work with experienced certification engineers supporting Gulfstream aircraft development programs, FAA certification projects, and foreign validation activities.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Completion of sophomore year is required prior to the internship start date.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
  • Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall).
  • Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
