About The Position

Earth Systems Energy Solutions is seeking an Environmental Construction Manager II to lead field execution activities for environmental remediation and environmental construction projects throughout Texas and surrounding regions. This role is designed for experienced field leaders who can manage crews, coordinate subcontractors, support remediation construction activities, and drive successful field execution while working within a consulting-based project environment. Travel: Approximately 75% travel to active project sites with occasional travel to the Midland or Austin office as needed.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of environmental remediation, environmental construction, or environmental consulting field experience
  • Experience leading crews and subcontractors on active job sites
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, project specifications, and remediation plans
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel extensively and work in active field environments
  • Environmental consulting or remediation contractor experience is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field execution of environmental remediation and environmental construction projects
  • Oversee excavation activities, remediation system installations, erosion control, soil management, and site restoration activities
  • Support implementation of remedial action plans in accordance with engineering design and project specifications
  • Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and field coordination activities as needed
  • Manage field crews, subcontractors, and daily remediation or construction operations
  • Coordinate workforce planning, equipment, materials, and subcontractor scheduling
  • Monitor project schedules, field productivity, and work quality
  • Identify field challenges and support operational solutions to maintain project progress
  • Maintain communication with Project Managers, Engineers, and Operations leadership
  • Ensure remediation and construction activities comply with environmental permits, project specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee environmental monitoring, soil management, waste handling, and field documentation activities
  • Support project reporting and project closeout documentation requirements
  • Lead field safety meetings, JSAs, and site hazard evaluations
  • Enforce OSHA safety standards and HAZWOPER compliance across project sites
  • Promote a strong safety culture and accountability within field operations
