The Water Investment Division's Clean Water Initiative Program (CWIP) is seeking a highly motivated individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about clean water with technical, organizational, and communications skills. CWIP coordinates with state and federal agencies to fund, track, and report on projects to restore Vermont's waters, and communicates progress toward meeting water quality restoration targets. The Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) partnership is an important component of the state's ongoing efforts to reduce pollution and restore and protect ecosystem health in the Lake Champlain basin. The LCBP Grants Manager position leads management, monitoring, and reporting of federal grants awarded to the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the supervision of the Vermont Coordinator. This position works as part of CWIP's team focused on grant administration, operational support, funding initiative design, and implementation and works collaboratively to respond to emerging continuous improvement, accessible communications, and Vermont's Environmental Justice Law priorities. This position may include potential to telework.
