About The Position
The Environmental Aide / Housekeeping Worker maintains cleanliness and helps foster a culture of compassion, caring, warmth, and support within the hospital. The role interacts with patients and their families, delivering superior customer service and helping ensure their comfort and safety. This is a part-time day shift position from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with work every weekend. The position requires on-site presence, and employees should live within commuting distance of NewYork-Presbyterian. Travel expenses are not reimbursed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors.
- Strong commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience.
