This is a Union position that follows a Collective Bargaining Agreement. The primary purpose of this role is to perform duties to adjust, operate, setup and troubleshoot press equipment in Department 131 (Special Mailing). The job involves setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and conducting quality checks for cutting, folding, printing, stitching, and plate making equipment. Daily preventative maintenance is required, along with maintaining 5S and a safe work environment. Other duties may be assigned by the Supervisor. The role requires the ability to stand for 10 hours per day, work independently and as part of a team, and be available for overtime or any shift as required. Proficiency with computers and automated systems is necessary, as is the ability to work with solvents, oil, grease, ink, and cleaning chemicals. Effective communication with team members and efficient, diligent work without direct supervision are essential. Successful candidates must comply with general attendance and all safety policies and procedures.
