About The Position

The Entry Utility/Production Associate works at the Tampa Box Plant on third shift, Monday through Friday from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The position pays $22.66 per hour plus a shift differential. The associate safely operates machines, supports production and quality standards, and works with crew members to set up and run orders. Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed, with significant overtime possible during busy periods.

Requirements

Hands-on manufacturing or production work experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Ability to identify quality defects and monitor production quality.
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use basic shop math.
Ability to accurately perform tasks after they are explained and demonstrated.
Ability to learn, follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a team member.
Punctuality, a good work ethic, and a positive attitude.
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the corrugated industry.
Machine operation experience.

Responsibilities

Safely run machines and follow all safety rules and practices.
Count and stack finished product.
Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications.
Use basic shop math and accurately read tape measures, gauges, and other test equipment.
Coordinate activities with other crew members to efficiently set up and run orders.
Maintain company quality and production standards.
Continually monitor production quality and quantity.
Maintain housekeeping during the assigned shift.
Perform quality inspections and tests and record findings.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
