About The Position

This is an Entry Manufacturing Laborer position at the Amarillo Box Facility. The role involves counting and stacking finished product, operating a Forklift and/or Clamp Truck (preferred but not required), inspecting outgoing and incoming product and raw materials, reading factory orders, accurately reading gauges and other test equipment, utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, and accurately completing quality and administrative documents. The position also includes clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding scrap. The individual will manufacture corrugated material and assist the Machine Operator, with the potential to be promoted to the next position level when a vacancy becomes available. This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude
Counting and stacking finished product
Ability to read a tape measure
Interpret a variety of instructions given in written, verbal or in electronic form
Utilize test equipment while performing basic math calculations
