About The Position

This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION. The Entry Manufacturing Laborer will be responsible for manufacturing corrugated material. This role involves counting and stacking finished product, inspecting outgoing and incoming product and raw materials, reading factory orders, and accurately reading gauges and other test equipment. The position also requires utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, and accurately completing quality and administrative documents. Additionally, the laborer will be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding scrap. The role includes operating a Forklift and/or Clamp Truck as a preference, not a requirement, and the individual will act as an Assistant Machine Operator, prepared to promote to the next position level when a vacancy becomes available.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude
Ability to read a tape measure
Interpret a variety of instructions given in written, verbal or in electronic form
Utilize test equipment while performing basic math calculations

Nice To Haves

Operating a Forklift and/or Clamp Truck

Responsibilities
