About The Position

This role involves performing various tasks in a manufacturing environment, including operating a transfer cart, following safety procedures, counting and stacking finished products, reading factory orders, and supporting machine operators. The position requires accurate reading of gauges and test equipment, basic shop math, and the ability to use a tape measure. Responsibilities also include maintaining housekeeping standards, performing clean-up functions like blowing down machines, wiping shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming, sweeping, and picking up/shredding scrap. The individual will also assist with securing tooling and materials for production orders and perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Consent to a background check and pre-employment physical / drug screen
• Flexible to work overtime as needed
• Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new things, receive and follow instructions

Nice To Haves

• 2 years manufacturing experience highly preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely operate transfer cart
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Counting and stacking finished product
• Reading factory orders
• Support Operators and Assistant Operators in running the machine
• Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment
• Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, and have the ability to use a tape measure
• Accurately completing quality checks and following directions as given
• Practice and maintain housekeeping standards
• Perform clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap
• Assist with securing all required tooling and materials in order to be ready for production orders
