About The Position

The Muransky Companies is a premier, family-owned multifaceted organization based in Boardman, Ohio. They manage a diverse portfolio of brands, including Southwoods Health, Chestnut Land Company (Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon), The Lake Club, and Ivory&birch. They are looking for a motivated Entry Level Staff Accountant to join their corporate Accounting and Finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general cost accounting principles.
• High level of organization and extreme attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, track company assets, and liabilities.
• Perform general cost accounting and internal audits of large volumes of data to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing general ledger data.
• Prepare year-end work papers for external tax accountants.
• Maintain ethical standards and strict confidentiality regarding company data.
• Collaborate professionally with vendors, coworkers, and department leadership.
