Entry Level Site/Civil Engineer
About The Position
Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Site/Civil Engineer for its Site/Civil department, focused on the Energy Market Sector, in the Richmond, Virginia office. The engineer will contribute to all phases of civil and municipal engineering, including design work, permitting, code research, specification writing, and preparation and submission of permit applications. As an entry-level hire, the employee will be part of a peer class with 0–1 year of professional experience. The entry-level program offers regular professional development events and team-building activities led by an advisory team, intended to help participants build peer connections, understand career growth opportunities, and learn more about Dewberry and its work.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency using CADD.
- Desire to work in a team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior internship experience.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
Responsibilities
