About The Position

VHB’s Worcester, Massachusetts office is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to support land development projects. The role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team across projects of varied sizes and scopes. The position involves developing site civil engineering plans and specifications, supporting site design and permitting work, and contributing to a collaborative, technology-empowered, people-driven culture. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 0–1 years of professional site/civil engineering experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, with attention to detail and the ability to think critically and multitask.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• EIT/EI credential, or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team of professionals to develop site civil engineering plans and specifications for a variety of land development projects.
• Perform civil engineering work for site designs, including grading and drainage design, utility design, and site and roadway layout.
• Support the preparation of land development design and permitting documents.
