About The Position
Southwind, the owners of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, is hiring an Entry Level Sales & Laborer for its Field Sales & Service Team. The role combines face-to-face customer service and sales with hands-on work completing jobs. Team members meet customers, provide pricing, close sales, and work together to remove and load items. The position is active and primarily outdoors, with earnings described as an average of $21–$24 per hour ($13 plus profit share and tips). Performance-based promotions may be possible within 2–3 months, with opportunities to grow into leadership roles. The job requires full-time availability for five days per week, including four weekdays and either Saturday or Sunday. Overtime opportunities are available based on customer demand and job volume.
Requirements
- Strong communication and closing skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be 21 or older.
- Full-time availability for five days per week: four weekdays and either Saturday or Sunday.
