About The Position

The Boeing Company is looking for an Entry-Level Project Management Specialist to join their team in Smithfield, Pennsylvania. This role will require someone who is able to travel domestically up to 10% of the time. This position manages Production Projects from New Concept engineering support and production planning to full rate production phases. It supports a growing Manufacturing team in a mixed model high rate environment. The specialist will independently develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards. They will perform studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), and risk assessments to determine impacts and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, and program initiatives. The role involves creating schedules, reports, metrics, and managing change activity, communicating and updating plans regularly throughout the lifecycle of a program or project. The specialist will work to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers. This role directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion. The specialist acts as the primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. They will also assist customers to develop performance recovery plans and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

Requirements

Experience Project Management or Project Scheduling
Experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership
1+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
