About The Position

This position is for a candidate who has less than 1 year of Class A commercial driving experience. McDonald's largest distributer worldwide is seeking an Entry Level Local CDL A Truck Driver for local routes. Interstate license is required. Paid training starts at $30.58/hour, with component pay starting after training, allowing drivers to earn up to $120,000/year. This role offers weekly pay, touch-freight, and an extra board schedule within the foodservice distribution industry. Trucks are preloaded, and deliveries are palletized. Sirius Radio is provided.

Requirements

0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must possess a valid Class A, B, or C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driving experience in the military.
Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.

Responsibilities

Unloading and delivering products to customers.
Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
Safely and professionally operating a commercial motor vehicle, including conveyors and carts.
Securely operating powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck.
Picking up returned products, including payments and pallets.
Completing delivery and pick up paperwork.
Other duties as assigned.
