About The Position

At Parkside Utility Construction, LLC, the Laborer Telecom Aerial supports an Aerial Telecom Crew with the installation and maintenance of fiber and telecom cables and materials. The role includes assisting crew members, handling equipment and materials, supporting resident notifications and traffic direction, and maintaining company vehicles and equipment. Work may involve overtime, travel, on-call or after-hours responsibilities, and working in all weather conditions. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Have a high school diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Have a valid state driver's license (not provisional) and an acceptable driving record.
• Be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified.

Nice To Haves

• Previous labor experience in telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before work starts each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct or flag traffic in accordance with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
