About The Position

Ethos Risk Services is hiring a full-time, entry-level Field Investigator to conduct insurance claims investigations, including covert surveillance and fraud detection. No prior investigative experience is necessary. The role includes a fully paid Investigator Training Program, beginning in a virtual classroom and continuing with on-the-job training. Investigators receive guidance and mentorship from a field supervisor and use surveillance equipment to capture video evidence, prepare investigative reports, and complete case files.

Requirements

• Active driver's license that is not suspended or revoked.
• Well-maintained, reliable personal vehicle; tinted windows are preferred.
• Proof of auto insurance coverage.
• Reliable laptop, cell phone, and internet service for communication and administrative tasks.
• Strong computer and internet proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel farther from home occasionally and stay overnight when required.
• Ability to remain alert and work independently for long periods in a vehicle, without external distractions and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary investigations using social media and database research.
• Perform covert surveillance from a vehicle, tracking subjects and capturing high-quality video evidence.
• Draft detailed, court-ready investigative reports summarizing activity and key findings.
• Complete case files by submitting reports and uploading video footage using a personal laptop.
• Communicate and work with a field supervisor, receiving regular guidance and mentorship.
